Two to four weeks is comfortable for a single venue show. Arena dates, festival weekends and anything falling in a busy trade fair or fashion week month should be booked earlier, because the same pool of experienced technicians is being chased by every other production in the city that week.
Stagehands are the physical handling part of the job: unloading, pushing cases, building and striking. Yes. We work from your advance and from the venue’s own rigging plot, power supply and curfew rules rather than assuming a standard setup. If you also need the PA, lighting rig or backline supplied rather than just operated, add AV and technical support to the booking.
